Major Projects, Renewals and Refurbishments

The City builds a number of new major projects and undertakes a variety of facility renewals or refurbishments every year.  These infrastructure projects offer residents and visitors better services, amenities, facilities and experiences unique to the Greater Geraldton region.

In the 2024/25 financial year the City will be continue to invest in infrastructure renewals with $31.1 million allocated to renewing existing assets and $11 million allocated to the New Capital Works Program. This investment continues to clear up legacy infrastructure issues while providing an important boost to the local economy.
