Parking Local Law 2012 ( Consolidated)
The purpose of this local law is to:
- Constitute a parking region
- Enable the local government to regulate the parking of vehicles within the parking region
- Provide for the management and operation of parking facilities occupied by the local government.
The effect of this local law is to:
- A person parking a vehicle within the parking region is to comply with the provisions of this local law

Public Places and Local Government Property Local Law 2020
The purpose of this local law is to:
- To regulate the care, control and management of property of and under the care, control and management of the City including thoroughfares.
The effect of this local law is to:
- Some property is set aside for particular uses, some activities are allowed only under a permit or under a determination, and others are restricted or prohibited. The local law also establishes offences for inappropriate behaviour in on City property.

Animal, Environment and Nuisance Local Law 2014 (Consolidated)
The purpose of this local law is to:
- Provide for the regulation, control and management of animals and the prevention of environmental damage and nuisances within the District.
The effect of this local law is to:
- Establish the requirements with which any person keeping animals, or undertaking activities that have the potential to impact the environment or create nuisance must comply
- To remove obsolete and outdated local laws relating to the new district of the City of Greater Geraldton.
- Allow health related issues to be sufficiently controlled so as to provide an acceptable standard for the maintenance of public health in the community, correct minor errors and remedy the disallowance of previous local laws relating to the new district of the City of Greater Geraldton

Health Local Law 2014
The purpose of this local law is to:
- To provide a statutory means of effectively controlling issues which have the potential to adversely impact on the health and well-being of the community.
The effect of this local law is to:
- To allow health related issues to be sufficiently controlled so as to provide an acceptable standard for the maintenance of public health in the community and to remove obsolete and outdated local laws relating to the City of Greater Geraldton.

Cats Local Law 2020
The purpose of this local law is to:
- Set a standard number of cats that may be kept on premises.
The effect of this local law is :
- Persons must not keep more than the standard number of cats unless provided for the local law, the Cat Act, or its associated Regulations.

The purpose of this local law is to:
- To make provisions about the confinement of dogs, control the number of dogs that can be kept on premises in the district , and to require removal of dog excreta.

Waste Local Law 2020
The purpose of this local law is to:
- To regulate the storage, collection and disposal of waste and refuse from premises and on waste facilities in the City of Greater Geraldton.
The effect of this local law is :
- Unless otherwise authorised , the storage , collection and disposal of waste and refuse within the City of Greater Geraldton must be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the local law.

The purpose of this local law is to:
- To provide a process for requiring landowners to control and eradicate declared pest plants on their properties.
The effect of this local law is to:
- To control the spread of declared pest plants.

The purpose of this local law is to:
- To provide for the appointment or election of a captain , a first lieutenant , a second lieutenant, and such additional lieutenants as may be necessary as officers of bush fire brigades in the district, and prescribe their respective duties.

Cemetery Local Law 2011 (Consolidated)
The purpose of this local law is to:
- To provide for the orderly management of the Mullewa Public Cemetery (Reserve No 3334 and Reserve No 25429) in accordance with established plans and to create offences for inappropriate behaviour within the cemetery grounds.
The effect of this local law is to:
- To ensure compliance by all persons engaged in the administration of the cemetery, burying deceased in the cemetery, or otherwise providing services to or making use of the cemetery.
