Strategic Community Plan Review 2024-25

The City is undertaking a major review of its current Strategic Community Plan (SCP), our ten year plan that captures the community’s long-term aspirations for where we live, work, study, play and invest.

The Plan describes the community's vision the City will strive to achieve over the next ten years, where it will focus its efforts and how it will measure progress.

The City began engaging with the community in early November 2024 to ensure the new plan reflects the community’s vision for the place we all call home.

The results of our community engagement activities have since been collated and the draft plan is finished.

Did we get it right?

We'd like to know if we understood the community's aspirations for the future.

You can tell us what you think by taking the Your Voice Our Future Draft SCP Community Survey (coming soon)

How we engaged

The City conducted a Community Survey and held Community Conversations which included a number of workshops (both in person and online) and pop-up sessions that were held between 23 November and 4 December.

The workshops brought together people of all ages and backgrounds who contributed their ideas and aspirations to the project.

The pop-up sessions were held across the City at various locations, weekend markets and events.  The team spoke with community members of all ages and backgrounds and enjoyed hearing what they liked most about the City and their ideas on how to make it an even better place to live.
