Roadworks in Walkaway

The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise that road renewal works on a section of the Nangetty-Walkaway Road located west of the Walter Road intersection will begin on Wednesday 15 January 2025.

The works, which will take approximately ten days to complete, will take place between 7am and 6pm.

These works, valued at $450,000 are 66% funded by the Main Roads WA Regional Road Group and are also part of the City’s 2024/25 Road Renewal Program which will see more than 25kms of roads resurfaced or resealed.

Traffic management will be in place during the works.

Members of the community are requested to exercise caution and obey all warning signs and directions from authorised City personnel and contractors.
