The undisputed Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin and Music legend Stevie Wonder will be celebrated in a special performance event.
A Night of Respect and Wonder: Stevie Wonder and Aretha Franklin Sung by AViiDA.
In this must see performance, AViiDA conjures soulful interpretations of Stevie and Aretha’s most memorable and signature songs, including “Natural Woman, Think, Respect, Say a Little Prayer and Chain of Fools" from Aretha’s catalogue, plus “Signed, Sealed, Delivered, Superstition, Master Blaster, For Once in My Life and Sir Duke" from Stevie’s masterful collection of songs.
In a one hour performance, audiences can also expect to hear other favourites and unforgettable songs from both artists repertoires.
Morning Melodies will start at 10am with a morning tea and chatting with friends in the QPT foyer.
The performance will start at 11am sharp and is one hour long.
Tickets are available in person at the Civic Centre, the Library or the Visitor Centre or online. Adult $20, Concessions (Pensioners, Seniors, Health Care Card & Students) $15.
