E-Waste
On 1 July 2024, a regulation that bans the disposal of electronics and electronic items in landfill so these valuable resources can be recovered came into effect.
A collection point for electronic waster, e-waste, is located at the Meru Waste Management Facility located on Landfill Lane.
E-waste is transported to a contractor, dismantled and the components are sold on for recycling.
Please stack all items carefully into the collection bins avoiding damage where possible.
