The Waterpark
Situated in the heart of the Geraldton Foreshore is the Waterpark. With an assortment of spouts and other water features, this is the ultimate energy burner for the kids. Surrounded by grass and shade there is plenty of space for everyone to chill out before racing back in to enjoy the water fountains.

Playgrounds
Directly adjacent to the Waterpark is the first of three modern playgrounds that adorn the Geraldton Foreshore. Surrounded by a toddler-proof fence with a space for older children, this playground is shaded and conveniently opposite a café for those parents who require a restorative beverage.
Walk 150metres to the south and you will come to the Youth Precinct. This space is a ‘big kids’ playground designed specifically with older children in mind featuring a skywalk, merry-go-round, climbing cube, basketball court and foosball. There is also a multi-purpose ‘rage cage’ perfect for soccer, netball, basketball, cricket, rebound tennis and much more.

The Esplanade
Located at the southern end of the Geraldton Foreshore, the Esplanade is a must-see for all visitors. Offering sprawling views of the city, Port, Champion Bay and Moresby Ranges from a 360 degree viewing platform – this is a great way to take in Geraldton!
With views aplenty, one of the most unique things you can spot from the Esplanade are the friendly Sea Lions on our iconic Seal Rock. There is interpretative signage along the way that will tell you the story of our friendly local Sea Lions as well as the story of the Port and Champion Bay.

Beaches
The Geraldton Foreshore offers pristine sandy beaches with plenty of space. Protected from the southerly wind these beaches make perfect locations for swimming and hanging out on the sand. The area in front of Champion Bay Surf Life Saving Club is patrolled Sundays between 9am and 1pm during the summer. You will also find two pontoons perfect for the more adventurous to swim out to and jump off. Please note the pontoons are removed during the winter months.

Facilities, Amenities and more!
On top of the beaches, playgrounds, Waterpark and Esplanade you will also find an abundance of free-to-use barbecues, change rooms, showers, gazebos, art installations, cafes and eateries. There is also beach access matting and two beach wheelchairs available so that everyone can enjoy the Geraldton Foreshore.
