School Holidays are just around the corner and so is the City of Greater Geraldton’s always popular School Holiday Program.

Complete with an abundance of boredom busters to keep young people entertained, the City’s School Holiday Program has been developed to ensure there is plenty of fun on offer over the break.

City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Jerry Clune welcomed the return of the program.

“School holidays are always an entertaining time around the City and with the return of the School Holiday Program, there is no excuse for thumb twiddling!”

“We’ve worked hard to put together a program that suits all ages and a range of interests, culminating in an exciting series of activities and events everyone will enjoy.

“I encourage all our young people to check it out and get involved.”

New additions to the 2025 Autumn School Holiday Program include the Museum of Geraldton’s Egyptian exhibition and activities, cultural basket weaving and the PCYC Amazing Race.

Other holiday favourites will be back including Footy Fun with the West Coast Eagles, laser tag and the 3v3 basketball competition.

The City would like to thank Rio Tinto for their support of the program through the Youth Vibrancy Partnership.

The School Holiday Program falls under the Community pillar of the Strategic Community Plan and reflects the organisations commitment to creating a place where people have access to, engage in and celebrate arts, culture, education and heritage.

Registrations for many of these events are essential via Humanitix and details can be found on the City’s website.
