City seeks Sunday singers

Searching for that next gig? The City of Greater Geraldton is on the look out for talented musicians with a passion for performing to join the lineup for Sundays by the Sea next year.

The popular weekly event provides local musicians with a paid opportunity to hit the stage on the Geraldton Foreshore.

City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Jerry Clune said Sundays by the Sea has become a weekend staple for families over the warmer months as well as being a great opportunity for musicians.

“Nothing rounds out the weekend like spreading a picnic blanket down at Stow Gardens whilst enjoying something to eat from one of the food trucks, listening to some banging tunes and watching the kids burn off some energy on a Sunday evening,” he said.

“Sundays by the Sea is renowned for attracting some great acts and we would like to continue that tradition by securing some fresh talent.

“Along with looking for new acts to rock the mic we are also on the lookout for food vendors so everyone can take a night off from cooking and savour the music.”

Sundays by the Sea runs between Sunday 12 January and Sunday 11 May 2025 excluding public holidays.

Full details for both performer and food vendor applications can be found on the City’s website here.

The City would like to thank Rio Tinto for their support of this event.
