Open to all artists the proposed artworks must be original and visually appealing to a broad audience.

City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Jerry Clune said the opportunity provided a fantastic occasion for artists to display their talents.

“Our region is brimming with gifted artists, and I am looking forward to seeing what they come up with.

“Geraldton has so many fascinating elements that artists can draw inspiration from to enhance the new bus shelters and showcase their work.

“The artists that are awarded the jobs will not only be beautifying the new bus shelters but will be helping to enhance Geraldton as a whole.”

Artists are requested to theme their work based on the City of Greater Geraldton’s Public Art Strategy 2020-2025 which aims to consolidate, maintain and nurture visual art assets.
