Rocks Laneway will once again come alive with young entrepreneurs when A Day in the Laneway returns in April.
Now in its third year, this maker’s market provides an opportunity for young creatives to show off their merchandise and sell home-made products in the award-winning thoroughfare.
City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Jerry Clune is thrilled to see the event back for another year.
“A Day in the Laneway has proven to be a resounding success with young people and I am delighted that our budding business tycoons will continue to have the opportunity to sell their creations,” he said.
“This free event is a fantastic way for savvy young people to sell their goods, gain valuable business skills and have a great time.
“I encourage everyone to join us for A Day in the Laneway, support our young people and enjoy a fun day out.”
Shoppers will have the opportunity to buy local handmade goods including artwork, crocheted items, jewellery, home goods plus much more.
A Day in the Laneway will take place on Saturday 12 April between 10am - 1pm in Rocks Laneway on Marine Terrace and is part of Youth Week WA celebrations.
The event is made possible with support from Rio Tinto and Borrowed Bunting.
Expressions of interest for stalls will close Saturday 29 March, applications and further information can be found on the City’s website.
