Invitation to Comment - Dedication of Private Land as Public Road (Closed)

Pursuant to Section 56 of the Land Administration Act 1997 (as amended) notice is hereby given that it is proposed to dedicate the following portions of private land (which are contained within the existing road) in order to formalise them as road reserve. All the lots currently form part of the existing road network and the dedication will formalise the use of the roads by the public.

-       Lots 52-59, 80, 102 and 103 George Road; and

-       Lot 104 Henry Street.

Please note that it is not proposed to physically close any roads and as such access to any property abutting the above portions of land will be maintained.  The process is required in order to have the private road portions dedicated as a public road.

Any submissions on this proposal must be made in writing and must be lodged with the undersigned on or before Monday 2 July 2018.

This proposal is available for inspection in order to provide opportunity for public comment and it should not be construed that final approval will be granted.
