Bush Fire Brigades Local Law (Closed)


The purpose is to provide for the appointment or election of a captain, a first lieutenant, a second lieutenant, and such additional lieutenants as may be necessary as officers of bush fire brigades in the district, and prescribe their respective duties.

The effect is that the appointment or election of a captain, a first lieutenant, a second lieutenant, and such additional lieutenants as may be necessary as officers of bush fire brigades in the district is prescribed, as are their respective duties.

The proposed Local Law may be inspected or obtained from the City offices during normal office hours, or by request, via email to council@cgg.wa.gov.au, or telephone 08 99566600.

Submissions about the local law may be made to the Chief Executive Officer, City of Greater Geraldton by no later than 4pm 16 April 2021, via email to council@cgg.wa.gov.au or in person at the City Administration office, 63 Cathedral Avenue Geraldton, or the Mullewa Office cnr Thomas and Padbury Street Mullewa, during office hours, or by mail to City of Greater Geraldton, PO Box 101, Geraldton WA 6531.
