Beresford Foreshore Community Workshop and Survey (Closed)

Council has endorsed a plan to protect and enhance the Beresford Foreshore.

The earthworks required to construct extensions to the offshore breakwater and marina groynes and to build three revetments to stabilise the beach present an opportunity for the community to have their say on the repair of damaged paths and landscaping, the replacement of amenities already lost from erosion and the inclusion of other amenities.

If you would like to have your say on the facilities or amenities you believe would improve the Beresford Foreshore and identify what should be included in this stretch of coastline over the longer term there are two opportunities for members of the community to be involved.

  1. Complete the online Beresford Foreshore Amenities Survey.  Survey is now closed.
  2. Take part in the Beresford Foreshore Community Workshop on Saturday 14 May 2016 from 1.30pm to 3.30pm at the City Civic Centre.

Registration for the workshop is essential as places are limited. Registrations close Thursday 12 May at 5pm.
