Disability Access and Inclusion Plan Review 2019
The City has recently completed a review of its Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP).
It is a requirement of the Disability Services Act (WA) that all local government authorities develop and implement a DAIP that outlines the ways in which the authority will ensure that people with disability have equal access to its facilities and services and that each is required to lodge its DAIP the with the WA Disability Services Commission.
Part of the review included engaging with people with disability, their carers, family and friends regarding what the City has done well and where improvement is still needed via a community survey.

The results of the survey have been used to update the DAIP, which was recently endorsed by Council. More here
