Geraldton is set to come alive on Sunday 1 September as Queens Park Theatre hosts the highly anticipated Battle of the Bands 2024.
This free event will showcase the best of local talent with ten dynamic bands competing for the top spot, and a grand prize of $2000.
City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Jerry Clune expressed his enthusiasm for the event.
“Battle of the Bands is always a highlight on the Geraldton music calendar and this year promises to be the best yet with some old favourites and new stars participating on the day.”
“There is also the added bonus of the event taking place on Father’s Day, so if you’re stuck on ideas on how to celebrate, why not come down to the QPT to support some of the best musicians Geraldton has to offer.”
“With free entry and a lineup of incredible bands, it’s the perfect way for families and music lovers to spend an afternoon together. Let’s rock!”
As well as live music from 12pm-4pm, the bar will be open from 3pm – 4pm and food vendors will be onsite.
