Spring has arrived, along with some brand-new additions to the always popular School Holiday Program!
The City of Greater Geraldton’s School Holiday Program is part funded by Rio Tinto and is a collaboration between the City and other service providers. The Spring school holidays run from Saturday 21 September to Saturday 5 October.
City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Jerry Clune expressed his delight at the program’s return.
“We’ve worked hard to create a program that reflects the diverse interests of our youth and provides them with memorable experiences,” he said.
“This school holiday program is jam packed with a mix of new offerings as well as the return of some old favourites.
“Check out the City’s website for more information about events happening throughout Greater Geraldton or pick up a hard copy of City hosted programs from the civic centre or Library."
Returning school holiday activities include soccer clinics, wheelchair basketball, basketball 3v3 and clay sculpting. New additions include a pom pom workshop, a collage workshop and the highly anticipated Feather Fun.
Registrations for many of these events are essential via Humanitix and details can be found on the City’s website.
Organisers interested in delivering an activity or workshop with the City in future school holiday programs are encouraged to complete a School Holiday Program Expression of Interest form or contact the City’s Youth Team on 9956 6600.
