e-scooter trail under review

The 15 month Beam e-scooter trial is coming to an end and the City of Greater Geraldton wants your feedback on this flexible mode of transport.

Since launching in September 2022, more than 400,000kms have been travelled in nearly 170,000 trips on the electric scooters in and around the City.

City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Jerry Clune invites the community to take part in the rental e-scooter review.

“The trial is coming to a close and we want to hear what the community thinks about the hire e-scooters,” he said.

“Although the community has been sharing their opinions on the e-scooters with each other on social media channels, now is the time to share them with the City.

“The feedback we receive will inform Council decision-making regarding the continued operation of e-scooters on City land.”

The e-scooter Trial Community Survey is available online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/e-scootertrial

Paper copies of the survey are also available at the Civic Centre, Geraldton Regional Library, QEII Seniors and Community Centre, Art Gallery and Aquarena.

The survey is now closed.
