UPDATE: Unsealed rural road status report

The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise due to recent heavy rainfall the following road closures and re-openings are in effect.

All unsealed rural roads have reopened with the following exceptions.

Unsealed roads closed at floodways:

  • Desmond Road
  • Nangerwalla Road
  • Philips Road
  • Ramsey Road

Sealed roads closed at floodways:

  • Chapman Road East
  • Nubberoo Road

The following roads are open but there is water over the road

Members of the community are urged to drive carefully and to the conditions.

  • Ardingly Road South
  • Arthur Road
  • Burton Road
  • McCartney Road bypass
  • Minnenooka Road
  • Moore Road
  • Peters Road
  • Rose Road
  • Short Road
  • Tenindewa Road North

Members of the community are requested to exercise caution and obey all warning signs and directions from authorised City personnel and contractors.
