UPDATE: Rural road status report

The City of Greater Geraldton wishes to advise due to recent heavy rainfall the following road closures and re-openings are in effect.

All unsealed rural roads are reopened with the following exceptions that remain closed at floodway’s:

Unsealed roads closed at floodway’s or river crossings;

  • Yuna-Tenindewa Road
  • Ardingly Road South
  • Rose Road
  • Ramsey Road
  • Philips Road
  • Nangerwalla Road

The following sealed roads are closed at floodway’s;

  • Chapman Road East
  • Nubberoo Road

The following roads are open but there is water over the road

Members of the community are urged to drive carefully and to the conditions.

  • Minnenooka Road
  • Arthur Road
  • Short Road
  • McCartney Road

Members of the community are requested to exercise caution and obey all warning signs and directions from authorised City personnel and contractors.
