Organisations looking for a financial boost are invited to apply for the latest round of the City of Greater Geraldton’s Community Grants Program.

Round 31 of the program is aimed at not-for-profit community groups with grants of up to 50% of a project cost with a maximum of $20,000 available.

City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Jerry Clune is enthusiastic about what this round of community grants will mean to the region.

“Our Community Grants Program has a proven track record of helping community-based organisations take their activities to the next level,” he said.

“The distribution of these funds helps with equipment, facilities and programs that make Greater Geraldton a brighter place to live.

“I look forward to seeing what fantastic initiatives will come out of this latest round of community grants and urge groups who feel they would benefit from a financial leg up to apply.”

Assistance is once again also being provided for groups who wish to have their draft reviewed before putting forward their final applications.

Draft applications for revision and feedback must be submitted no later than Sunday 4 August 2024 and the final deadline for submissions is 5pm Friday 16 August 2024.

For a full list of the eligibility requirements, please refer to the Community Funding Programs Guidelines and access the City’s online grant information site here.
