Waste and Resource Recovery Services

The City collects residential and commercial waste but also enables the waste separation of waste at both the Meru Waste Management Facility and Mullewa Transfer Station. The City also encourages members of the community to consider their consumption to avoid creating waste in the first place or to consider how these purchased items can be reused, repurposed or recycled in the future to help reduce waste to landfill.
